Because Foundations of Successful Leadership is a classroom training, it will require a PowerPoint presentation to serve as the main visual aid for instructional material and activity instructions. To supplement the presentation, handouts will be provided in Modules 2, 5, and 8. In addition to the visual aids, the classroom will need easel charts and markers for learners to document their findings after completing group activities and discussions. To take notes during the instruction, learners will need pens and notepads.
Because Foundations of Successful Leadership is a classroom training, the first resource needed is a space to conduct the training. A training classroom in an office workspace would be ideal. In the classroom, a screen to project the PowerPoint would be necessary as well. The trainer of the classroom would need a computer with the presentation loaded. Ideally, learners would also have access to a computer so they can take the eLearning modules after completing modules 5 and 6. If a computer is not available for each learner, they would need either a tablet or smartphone. Preferably there would be a device available for each learner. In the event there are not enough laptops, smartphones, or tablets for each learner, it is recommended that they alternate devices so that each learner can complete the eLearning modules.
