I find deep fulfillment in building educational projects for children, blending design, storytelling, and play. My heart is fully dedicated to Gutter, where I explore new ways to make learning more engaging and interactive.
Visual Language and Critical Thinking Through Play
At Gutter, I design learning experiences that merge drawing, design, and philosophy, creating a space where children develop visual literacy and critical thinking through play. Inspired by game mechanics and storytelling, Gutter’s workshops encourage participants to explore narrative structures, visual composition, and ethical dilemmas, fostering both creativity and reflection.
The project incorporates role-playing and gamified challenges, allowing children to experiment with different artistic techniques while engaging in philosophical discussions. By blending structured activities with open-ended exploration, Gutter empowers students to develop their own voices as creators and thinkers in a world saturated with visual information.
Reinterpreting History Through Comics
Dibujando Memoria (Drawing Memory) is a project of social, rural, and artistic engagement, developed within the subject Construction of Citizenship for first-year students at Secondary School No. 6 of Brandsen, La Posada campus. The initiative aims to problematize and reinterpret one of the darkest periods in our history using the expressive tools of visual language and sequential art: the comic strip.
Through guided storytelling exercises, students translate historical narratives into illustrated sequences, developing a deeper, more personal understanding of collective memory. This project not only fosters artistic expression but also encourages dialogue and reflection on human rights, identity, and historical responsibility, bridging the gap between past and present through visual storytelling.
