Like many of Lebanon's residents, I attended the 2025 City Budget work sessions and listened to hundreds of my neighbors express their concerns: worry about rising property taxes, fear for the loss of important community services, and skepticism about fiscal stewardship. The city is unfortunately facing more years of difficult budgets and hard choices, and I'm ready to do the hard work to help make those choices.
My top priority is to keep budget increases as low as possible without sacrificing the things that make Lebanon a great place to live. To do that, I'm prepared to go line-by-line through the budget, to work closely with city offices and departments to understand and reduce their budget needs, and to generate creative solutions to keep Lebanon running without pricing its residents out of the community.
In my professional career, I spend every day working with spreadsheets, analyzing budgets, and helping stakeholders make informed decisions. I'm eager to bring my attention to detail and eye for fiscal efficiencies to the Lebanon budget process, and to help keep our budget as tight as possible without eliminating the things that make Lebanon what it is.
