Who am I? I grew up in Enfield and lived there for 18 years before moving just outside New York City for college. I've spent the years since living in the Upper Valley, England, Toronto, and Boston. Since 2019, I've lived in Lebanon's Riverdale neighborhood.
What are my qualifications? I've spent 15 years working in research administration, supporting researchers and managing their grant funding—so I understand budgets and responsible fiscal oversight. I've supported biomedical engineering research at Boston University, epidemiological and cancer research at Dartmouth College, and I'm currently the Assistant Director of Post-Award for the Institute of Human Development and Social Change at New York University.
In my spare time, I'm involved in local community organizations, and I'm a Lebanon history buff. I'm Chair of the Lebanon Heritage Commission, I'm currently serving my second term as Lebanon's City Historian, and I'm the Curator of the Lebanon Historical Society. You can find my writing about Lebanon's history in The Lebanon Times and in my 2023 book (Lebanon, from Arcadia Publishing's "Images of America" series).
When I'm not studying Lebanon's history, I've served on the Valley News Reader Advisory Board, I've recently joined the board of Sustainable Lebanon, and I can often be found on the rail trail with my 3-year-old hiking buddy.
