My goal as a teacher is to be great and continue to be great throughout time. I want to be known as that teacher who was awesome and fun. I don’t want to be that old timer that still uses chalk and a chalkboard to lecture students because we can all agree that’s downright boring. I want to evolve throughout time and show these kids how much fun learning can be. I’m not saying you have to use technology 24/7 but using it can really grab a kid’s attention. Today, kids are growing up with technology all around them whether it is smartphones, video games, or even just watching television. There are new forms of technology that catches kids’ attention and reels them in. I believe that by evolving and incorporating this technology in the classroom, I will catch their attention and reel them into the classroom. There are so many fun things that you can use as an educator that will make learning entertaining and it only get better and more advanced throughout time.
