Looking for budget VPS hosting with global reach? RackNerd runs year-round promotions across 21 data centers—from LA and Seattle to London and Singapore. Whether you're deploying development environments, running lightweight apps, or testing international server performance, this guide breaks down every active deal, helping you grab the best value without the headache of comparison shopping.
RackNerd is a US-based hosting provider launched in 2017, offering shared hosting, VPS, dedicated servers, and colocation services. With 21 data centers spanning the US, Canada, UK, Netherlands, France, Germany, Singapore, and Ireland, they run on KVM virtualization with SolusVM control panels. Payment options include Alipay, PayPal, credit cards, UnionPay, and cryptocurrency.
RackNerd currently offers two promo codes: 15OFFDEDI for dedicated servers and HYBRID10OFF for bare metal servers. Back in 2022, they released codes for regular VPS plans during Black Friday, but those deals were still pricier than their promotional packages. Skip the codes—just grab one of the promo deals below for better value.
RackNerd loves running promotions, and many past deals are still available for purchase. I've rounded up all the active packages here so you can compare. If you're prone to decision paralysis, I've also highlighted a few standout options.

RackNerd operates 21 data centers with test IPs, files, and Looking Glass tools available for network testing before purchase.
All promo packages qualify for free bandwidth doubling. Request it by posting in the Lowendtalk thread (find the latest post here or on their profile page). Use this format:
Hello, I would like to double the bandwidth.
Order: [your 10-digit order number from email]
Thanks!
No Lowendtalk account or posting privileges? Leave a comment and I'll submit the request for free.
For security reasons, RackNerd doesn't allow self-service email changes. I successfully changed mine via support ticket in June 2023, but frequent requests may get denied.
Update: As of a few years back, email changes cost $8 per request.
Latest update (November 2025): Email changes are now free again!
Yes, RackNerd allows server transfers (PUSH), but charges $8 per transaction—not per server. Transfer 10 servers in one go? Still just $8.
Pick based on your use case. Targeting users in mainland China? Go with US West Coast—San Jose, Los Angeles, or Seattle—for lower latency. If choosing between those, run tests using the info provided earlier.
New Jersey has a dedicated network line to the West Coast, so it might outperform other East Coast locations during peak hours with better bandwidth availability. Mobile networks reportedly see mysterious performance boosts here too.
Most RackNerd packages offer 9 data centers, primarily split between CC and MC facilities:
CC (ColoCrossing): San Jose, Seattle, New Jersey, Chicago, Dallas
MC (Multacom Corporation): LA DC-02 exclusively, known for cleaner IPs—less frequent Google CAPTCHA when using proxies
Bottom line: choose based on your use case and local network conditions.
Every RackNerd VPS includes one free data center migration to any location available at purchase. Locations unavailable at purchase aren't eligible for free migration.
After using your free migration, additional moves cost $5 each. Submit a support ticket—you can't switch data centers through the control panel.
RackNerd allows self-service IP changes through the control panel:
The first IP change within 72 hours of purchase is free. After that, or after using your free change, each IP swap costs $3 flat.
Note: This changes your existing IP to a different one—it doesn't add an extra IP. Your VPS still has just one IP address after the change.
RackNerd promotional packages offer serious value for budget-conscious users who need global server deployment options without sacrificing stability or support. With 21 data centers, flexible payment methods, and aggressive year-round pricing, it's a solid pick for developers, startups, and anyone testing international infrastructure. 👉 Ready to deploy?
