• A voiceover or video including narration of the full written content from step 2;
• Images and video (where appropriate) to show the entrepreneur's work;

Process: How are you planning your processes to achieve outcomes within the project timeframe? How are you managing your priorities and tasks and responding to changes or challenges? Give specific examples of your research and how it informs your project. Cite sources in APA7.
For this project, we were tasked with choosing an entrepreneur and creating a presentation about their activity. It was a little tricky to decide, but I’ve been interested in the musician Jack Conte. I love the band ‘Scary Pockets’, and he is one of the creators of the crowdfunding platform PATREON, so I thought he would be a good choice.
Research is certainly my first step. I want to ensure I’ve got some solid information on Conte, otherwise, I’ll choose someone else. I’ll try Google Scholar, Jura and Research Gate, plus the SAE library to ensure I’ve got some valid sources. Once I have read some articles on him and saved these resources I think I can start working on the script.
I came across a great article in Forbes magazine, it includes an interview with Conte and gives a clear overview of his intent with the platform Patreon. It notes how Conte really has an artist-first mentality, with the platform operating as a way to counter the situation where artists receive little income from streaming sites (Chaykowski, 2018). This is a good starting point, and I know I’ll be able to find some videos as well. It also presents some information on his intended audience, so I know that’ll help me answer one of the prompts.
Person: What communication skills does this project require, and how are you responding to feedback and giving feedback to others? For group projects, how are you working to enhance communication and active collaboration?
I’ve never written a script for a presentation before, so this is a new communication style for me. So far, I’m using the template, writing text for each slide. I’ll need to seek some feedback from Sean to check that I’m answering the prompts in the correct way…but I think I’m on the right track.
Proficiency: What skills, techniques, knowledge, or technologies are you using to achieve project requirements? Give examples analysing the strengths and limitations of work in your field and reflecting on the skills, knowledge and research relevant to your project.
This is an interesting project as this is the first time I have created a digital presentation. I’m comfortable creating a slideshow, but the recording aspect of it is new to me. Sean has sent some suggestions for what we could use, so I think I’ll take a look at these before deciding on my approach. I’d definitely like to improve my skills in video production, so I’ll try to use something other than simple screen recording. My plan is to do some testing before I record the final version so I can check the audio is clear.

Create your project-completion reflection. In 250 words, answer each of the questions with examples from your project:
• Appraisal: Overall, how successful was your project? What worked or didn’t work, and why? How did it match with your expectations? Give specific examples, screenshots or links.
• Challenges: What obstacles did you overcome and how? What lessons did you learn?
• Future Goals: How will you improve your skills for future projects? What will you do differently in your next project? What will you repeat?
