About the project
Among the Stars is a short solo-performative piece devised by Nick Suchomel while studying abroad in Cork, Ireland. The piece explores how imagination functions in theater, with the majority of the piece taking place entirely in the imagination of the audience. The soundscape, which Nick designed himself, slowly immerses the audience in the cosmic world through breathing SFX before building the emotional layers of a transcendent experience.

About the project
A Forgotten Mind is a one-act play written by Nick Suchomel for his attempt at honors at Macalester College. The production explored ways theater can elicit emotional reactions in the audience, primarily through aesthetic, and how those reactions contribute to the story of the play. Since the set changes were minimal, this soundscape, which Nick designed, was one of the primary ways the "hellscape" setting was created. It features a vocally-stripped version of the song Demons by MISSIO, along with many other SFX that helped build the environment.
