Nichole Austin, PhD

Welcome!

I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Health Administration (with a cross-appointment in the department of Community Health & Epidemiology) at Dalhousie University. As an epidemiologist with research interests in policy evaluation, reproductive health, and quasi-experimental methods, my overarching goal is to understand how social policies create, mitigate, or exacerbate inequities in access to care and associated health outcomes. I hold a PhD and MSc in Epidemiology from McGill University, and a BA in Psychology from Mount Holyoke College.
