Teaching at UT Arlington

Since January 2024 I have been a faculty member in the Departmetn of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington.  To date I have only taught one course, but I look forward to future opportunities.

Teaching at UT Dallas

From September 2009 to December 2018 I was a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Texas at Dallas.  I taught courses in controls and robotics, and senior design.  I created curriculum for the robotics course, including laboratories.  I was also involved in the creation of the Engineering Projects in Community Service (EPICS) course

I was honored to receive a 2018 Faculty Teaching Award in the Erik Jonsson School of Engineering and Computer Science.

In the fall of 2018, I was nominated for the Regents' Outstanding Teaching Awards
