This piece is made of aluminum. The thread is 1/2-20 UNF to fasten to the back part of the handle. This was machined on a lathe using an HSS cutting tool and threading tool. The thread was the finalized by using the respective die
This part is made out of 1020 steel. The part has two threaded sections, one internal and one external, both are 1/2-20 UNF. The lathe was the machine used for the entirety of this part. There is a 4inch knurl section connected to a tapered section.
The tools used were HSS Threading tool, general purpose carbide cutting tool, 1/2-20 UNF tap and die
This part is made from a 1.5in diameter piece of 1020 stock steel. The lathe was used for the internal chamfers on the side. The milling machine was use for the handle slot. The handle slot has a 17/32in diameter. The holes on the side are 5/16-18 UNC for the cap inserts
These are 1.5 in diameter caps with 45 degree chamfers that reduce the ends to 1in diameter. One cap is made from PVC and the other from aluminum. These parts were produced on the lathe along with the 5/16-18 UNC threaded section in the center
