Using an amazing dataset spanning 40 + years and thousands of individual lizards I am looking at how sympatric species particularly phylogenetically close species share niche space. This research focuses on the extremely rich communities of Ctenotus. My collaborator for this project is Eric R. Pianka.

Using dataloggers, snow measurement and biometrics I aim to quantify overwintering site selection by P. hernandesi and estimate fitness costs associated with seasonal variation in environmental factors. This will help understand how these lizards persist in SW Saskachewan's challenging conditions and also the risk climate change poses for these populations. My collaborators include Pamela Rutherford and Stephen C. Lougheed.

This project stems from my PhD research. An investigation into the phylogenetics, biogeography and contact zone dynamics of a wide ranging tree frog with complicated intraspecific diversity. Exploration into the natural history and conservation of reptiles and amphibians in one of North America's most endangered ecosystems. This encompasses a number of different projects, some from my undergrad and some conducted during my PhD. My collaborators include Pamela Rutherford, Drew J. Hoysak, Neil C. Gushulak, Andrew Didiuk and Shelley Pruss.

A conservation project from my MSc looking at the behavioral, physiological and population effects that a small scale commercial fishery can have on a community of freshwater turtles. We put an emphasis on developing mitigation strategies including gear modification. My collaborators for this project include Steven Cooke, Gabriel Blouin-Demers, Lauren J. Stoot, Sarah M.
