Technology helps improve our lives so we should learn how to work with it. More and more school districts are implementing technology. Students nowadays have a world of information at their fingertips. Students have a huge library of videos available to them. Virtual reality is also slowly developing. Technology also helps teachers have more valid assessments than ever before. I have taught a number of lessons, and technology has helped both my students and I with them. Some of the technology that I will use in the future are the following:
I will try and implement breakouts into my lessons whenever possible. Open ended assignments are a good idea as well. I will educate my students about some of the digital tools available to them and implement them into my lessons.
I will actively try implement digital tools for immediate feedback into my lessons and improve my formative assessment strategies. As a future SPED educator, I will continuously work on my ability to differentiate material for my students. Since most school districts have technological devices available for their students, I will work on having my class use them frequently since they accelerate their learning.
