To be a student-athlete on the Polk County Composite team, you must:
Be a Polk County resident in grades 6-12
Pay a $250 registration fee (this goes to NICA Corporate— not the Polk County team)
Have a functioning mountain bike and helmet
Get transportation to/from practice (located at Polk County Recreation Complex)
Attend practice (Tuesdays & Thursdays from 3:30-5pm)
Be safe and responsible
You do NOT have to:
Race competitively
Be an experienced mountain biker

After you submit your interest form, you will receive an email invitation to PitZone. Please allow up to 48 hours for this email to arrive.
This email will contain a link. Follow it to complete your registration. The system will prompt you to enter the student-athlete's information (including medical info) and pay the $250 registration fee. Please note this fee goes to NICA, not your local Polk County team.
Scholarships may be available for some students.
