MenuPic AI helps users visualize and understand restaurant menus by scanning menu text, generating dish images, and translating descriptions into their preferred language. We designed MenuPic AI to minimize data collection and respect your privacy.

Information We Collect

Camera & Images

MenuPic AI uses your device camera only to scan restaurant menus. Images are processed temporarily to extract menu text, generate visual references, and provide translations. We do not store scanned images after processing.

Text Data

Extracted menu text is used solely to generate AI images and translations. This data is not linked to your identity and is not retained after processing.

Usage Data

We may collect limited, anonymized usage data such as scan counts, feature usage, and crash diagnostics to improve app reliability and manage usage limits.

Purchases

Subscriptions and in-app purchases are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store payment or billing information.

AI & Translation Processing

MenuPic AI uses AI-based services to generate images and translations. Processing may occur on secure servers located outside your country depending on availability and performance. We take reasonable measures to protect data during processing.

What We Do Not Collect

• No user accounts

• No names, email addresses, or phone numbers

• No precise location data

• No biometric or facial recognition data

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We only share data with trusted service providers strictly for image generation, translation, and app functionality.

Children

MenuPic AI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Your Choices

You may revoke camera access at any time in device settings. Subscriptions can be managed through your App Store account.
