Hi (xin chào)! Welcome to my homepage.

I am Nhu N. Nguyen (Nguyễn Ngọc Như in Vietnamese). I am an Assistant Professor in  the Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematical Sciences, University of Rhode Island

My research is in part supported by the National Science Foundation under the grant DMS 2407669.

I got Phd in Mathematics from University of Connecticut (Uconn) in 2022, where I am very honored to be supervised by Prof. George Yin. Before moving to Uconn together with my advisor, Prof. Yin, I had 3 memorable years in Wayne State University, where I was a Ph.D. student in Mathematics and obtained M.A. in Mathematical Statistics. Before that, I pursued B.S. in Mathematics (talent program) in VNU University of Science, Viet Nam under the supervision of Prof. Nguyen H. Du and then was a lecturer there for 1.5 years. Back to high school, I focused on Math in Nguyen Trai Specialized and Gifted High School, which led to several prizes in Mathematical Contests.

Here is my full CV.  You can find more about me in Google scholar, Researchgate, Mathscinet or Linkedin.
