Instructional Support Period
Purpose for ISP
ISP is designed to provide students with:
· interventions to assist them in EOC tested subjects
· additional extra-curricular opportunities
· time to complete assignments
· time to attend tutorials
· meet with clubs & organizations
· assist seniors who need personal graduation plans to meet graduation requirements
· get assistance from ISP teacher to see what you’re missing
Tutorials during ISP
There are opportunities for tutorials during ISP. If a student is in interventions, they will be allowed to attend tutorials on Thursdays & Fridays. Students not in interventions will be able to attend tutorials on any day ISP is offered. Teachers may assign mandatory tutorials during ISP.
· Interventions will take place on Mondays & Tuesdays
· Campus-Wide Tutorials are available on Thursdays & Fridays
· Teachers that have intervention ISPs will only be available for tutorials on Thursdays & Fridays
ISP Tutorial Passes
Students must obtain a pass from the teacher they want to attend tutorials with before their ISP period. If a student does not obtain an ISP pass before ISP, they will be required to stay in ISP
· Student will report to ISP first and give the ISP pass to your ISP teacher
· Once a student reports to their tutorial class, they will need to stay the duration of ISP
· Failure to report to your assigned tutorial teacher will result in disciplinary consequences
Cell Phones
• Cell Phones will not be allowed during ISP
• All students are expected to be working on assignments from their classes
• If you do not have an assignment to work on, you need to bring a book to read
