• Head Coach - Northwood High School 

Coach Sharpe joins the NHS staff once again! Retiring in 2023, Coach Sharpe came back to substitute teach and eventually stepped up to fill in the Head Coach position for the 2024 season. Coach Sharpe was a passionate math teacher who taught and coached at NHS for 38 years. He helped create the college prep class and because of its success, it has become available to every other IUSD high school! 

During his time at Northwood, Sharpe coached a variety of sports on campus including soccer, basketball, track and tennis, giving him the opportunity to interact with students outside of the classroom. Lacrosse happens to be completely new sport for him, yet his eagerness to support the girls this season is felt through his positive energy and dedication to brushing up on his lax IQ!
