NHHS Prism
What is Prism?
Prism is North Hunterdon High School's Pride Alliance, also known as the Genders and Sexualities Alliance was founded in 2003. Currently, the club is led by Simon Ford and Mitchell DaCosta, supervised by Ms. Waller and Ms. Peck.
Prism's Goals
> Help the student body, and teachers, of NHHS feel safe and accepted during their time at North
> Educate the public on the LGBTQ+ community
> Create fun and enjoyable events for the student body to participate in
Prism's Leaders
President - Simon/Alex Ford
Simon's (also goes by Alex) pronouns are he/they. In his free time, he enjoys horseback riding at IMS, as well as drawing. Prism has given him and his friends a safe space to hang out and be themselves, as well as aid the incoming students to feel the same way.
Vice President - Maddix McKnight
Maddix uses they/them/their pronouns! They are the treasurer of GSA/PRISM! In their free time, you can find them painting or marching proudly on the Golden Lions field as a drumline member! With their leadership skills and positive attitude, they will sure make sure everyone has a place at the table!
Secretary - Hayden Hauser
Hayden uses all pronouns. In their freetime they like to watch horror games, do arts and crafts, and research Disney's Haunted Mansion. They think Prism is a safe and fun place to hang out with friends.
Supervisor - Ms. Peck
Ms. Peck's pronouns are She/Her. She proud mother of Grace, Spencer, and Will, along with two ridiculous dogs, Kenny and Louie who rule her house. She loves hanging out with her kids, gardening, cooking, listening to live music, and socializing with friends. She is so excited to co-advise PRISM with Ms. Waller and is enjoying getting to know everyone in the club and learning about the topics and issues that are important to everyone.
