Each year there are 23 different events we compete in for Science Olympiad. These events range from building a rubber band powered airplane to testing on ecology.
These are events in which you design, build and report something for a specific event. These events might include scrambler, flight, air trajectory, tower, electric vehicle and robot tour as examples.
These are events in which you design, build, report and take a test on something for a specific event. These events might include include detector building, optics, and wind power.
These are events in which you study, build binders, and take tests on certain subjects. These events might include, fermi questions, anatomy and physiology, astronomy, codebusters, write it do it, ecology, forensics, fossils, fermi questions, dynamic planet, remote sensing, forestry, rocks and minerals, and disease detectives.
These are events in which you study to take a test and complete a set of tasks on competition day. These events might include optics, chemistry lab, forensics, experimental design, microbe mission, and geologic mapping.
