Fixed Wing Workshop
The IEEE Student Branch of New Horizon College of Engineering held a Fixed Wing Workshop as part of the QuantumX-22 techno-management fest on December 8th. The event was conducted in collaboration with the Department of Quality Assurance and Skill Development at NHCE and the All India Council for Technical Education. Led by Aerospace startup Laikaspace, the workshop aimed to provide students with the opportunity to develop and test their own RC planes with fixed wings, as well as gain hands-on flight experience.
The Fixed Wing Workshop attracted a large number of students from various engineering and management colleges, all eager to showcase their talent and strengthen their resumes. Throughout the workshop, students were engaged in a variety of activities and exercises that allowed them to develop their skills and knowledge.
They worked closely with the experts from Laikaspace to build and test their own RC planes, gaining valuable hands-on experience in the process. In addition, students had the opportunity to learn about the principles of flight and the various components of fixed wing aircraft.
The Fixed Wing Workshop was a highly educational and rewarding experience for all of the participants. It provided a unique opportunity for students to learn from industry experts and gain hands-on experience in the development of RC planes. The event was a fitting addition to the QuantumX-22 techno-management fest, which was organized to provide a range of opportunities for students to learn, grow, and excel. We hope to see even more participation and excitement in future years.
