For a PSA to be impactful, it needs to reach its audience effectively. Recently, I have been sharing my PSA with viewers and collecting their feedback. The responses I received were constructive and insightful, providing valuable suggestions to enhance the overall message of my PSA. It was evident from the feedback that my viewers found the topic engaging, showing a keen interest in understanding how simple it can be to contribute towards eradicating poverty worldwide.
In response to the feedback, I have compiled a video showcasing the reactions and thoughts shared by my viewers. This video serves as a visual representation of the feedback received, highlighting the positive reception and engagement generated by the PSA. By incorporating the suggestions and insights provided by the audience, I aim to refine and amplify the impact of my PSA in raising awareness about the importance of combating poverty in all its forms.
A video on EdPuzzle was created to showcase the feedback, both positive and negative, that I received from viewers regarding my PSA.
I am confident that the execution of my advocacy strategy proved effective as it garnered substantial positive responses from viewers. The feedback indicated that audiences resonated with the content, appreciating the straightforward approach in highlighting the simplicity of addressing poverty across all its forms. Witnessing viewers' engagement and learning from my PSA was my primary objective, and it seems to have been achieved. While the feedback was primarily constructive, pointing out areas such as voiceover and text improvements, I found these suggestions valuable for enhancing future projects. Embracing these critiques not only deepened my understanding of viewer preferences but also inspired a reflective process, fostering growth and refinement in my advocacy efforts. In essence, the blend of positive feedback and constructive criticism has reinforced my commitment to deliver impactful messages while continuously striving for improvement in my communication strategies.
If i were to implement this solution again:
when making a public service announcement it is important to specify the organization or the person making the announcement. i should have put my name at the beginning of the video.
I would shorten the definition of poverty which happens to be long in my PSA and make it harder for the viewers to read it completely even if my voiceover was synchronized with my video timing.
Lastly, I would expand the time frame from 0:35 to the end because the voiceover and the texts are not synchronized perfectly due to insufficient time. if i add more time from that point on the video will be perfect.
before entering this class i did not know that there were goals set end poverty, protect the planet, and ensure that by 2030 all people enjoy peace and prosperity. Learning about global goals to solve problems like poverty made me understand the big picture. Studying these goals made me see how serious the issue is and how much we need to find real solutions. I thought that poverty only affect countries in development but I have learned that every country in the world is affected by poverty in a certain way. A key thing I discovered was how people in poor areas lack basic things like clean water, good food, and safe homes. This lack traps them in poverty, making it hard to escape.
During my research, I found that poverty is tied to not having enough money and opportunities. Without support and resources, economies stay small, preventing people from getting out of poverty. When people have the tools to support themselves and don't rely on outside help, they can start making a better life. Helping them secure stable jobs is crucial for long-term growth and success.
To tackle poverty, we need to do more than just give money. We must invest in lasting solutions, encourage entrepreneurship, and ensure people have opportunities to earn money. By supporting innovation, helping small businesses, and fighting for fair economic rules, we can lift communities out of poverty.
As I explored this topic, I saw ways everyone can help fight global poverty. Whether through backing local projects, calling for fair economic rules, or giving to charity, each person can make a difference. By working together and showing unity, we can create a fairer, more prosperous world for everyone.
I used to think only top leaders could make a difference in fighting poverty, but I now see that personal actions, along with teamwork, are powerful tools for change. By spreading awareness, promoting cooperation, and using resources wisely, we can aim to end poverty and create a fairer society for future generations.
