Geological Society of Malaysia
The Society was founded in 1967 with the aim of promoting the advancement of the earth sciences in Malaysia and the Southeast Asian (S.E.A) region. Currently, the Society has more than 1100 members worldwide of various earth science disciplines and expertise. The Society is active in organizing conferences such as GEOSEA and the National Geoscience Conference (NGC). In addition to these, they also organize regular technical talks, field trips and forums for the members.
39thNational Geoscience Conference (NGC 2026)
The Geological Society of Malaysia is pleased to announce that the 39th National Geoscience Conference (NGC 2026) will be held in Miri, Sarawak, during 1st - 3rd October 2026. This year the conference is organized by GSM, JMG, Sarawak, and Curtin University, Malaysia. The conference (NGC 2026) will continue the tradition as the premier geoscience event in the country, well attended by geologists from academia as well as the public and private sectors. On this occasion, the Organizing Committee of NGC 2026 would like to invite you to take part in the conference and share or discuss your latest research findings from various fields of geosciences.
Call for Papers: We invite abstracts for Oral and Poster presentations that will fit the following themes of the conference (mentioned in 1st Circular).
