Thank you for joining the fight to end cancer. This event was founded in 2020 on My Fantasy Leagues as a tribute to breast cancer survivors, with the mission of raising awareness for all patients and their families. A core focus of this initiative is highlighting that the journey often continues long after formal treatment concludes. Eliminating this disease requires sustained, collective support to advance research and reach a cure.

In 2026, cancer remains a significant public health challenge. While overall mortality rates have seen a decline, the frequency of new diagnoses is rising in specific categories, particularly among women and younger adults. Persistent disparities across different populations underscore the urgent need for continued research and advocacy. Despite these challenges, medical advancements continue to provide promising new therapies and treatment approaches.

Breast cancer, in particular, remains the most common cancer diagnosed among women in the United States, excluding skin cancers. This statistic serves as a vital reminder that the fight against this disease, and all forms of cancer, is ongoing and essential.
