Internet of things (IoT) has found wide ranging applications within medical and para medical domain. However, most of the IoT devices have found usage as standalone computers that collect biometrics of a patient to be analyzed manually. This paper attempts to demonstrate that IoT framework can find applications within the Bioinformatics research domain to enable scientists to collect, collate and perform Big-Data analytics on health-related medical bioinformatics and work towards personalized healthcare. The authors provide a proof of concept in this paper to create a complete setup consisting of IoT devices that collect biometric records and upload the data to a central virtual server on the cloud connected to public biological databases for further analysis. The authors strongly believe that advancement of the approach described in this paper would be useful to academic research bodies, government agencies and commercial enterprises alike for creating smart solutions and futuristic implementation of health monitoring and disease control across complete populations. Ongoing research on 5G Technologies. This initiative is open to hiring and provide jobs. Please visit e-Sanjivini and National Health Portal sites to explore Government sponsored programs.
