My outcome from this class:
I love the class, I had great classmates with great contibution to our class. I loved to share my points of views, identify myself as a student and future teacher to real life situations from past and present. We must recognize that in some way, we have all be part of some sort of a stereotype but the question is, when will we stop perpetuating such ideas? I was one that thought it cannot be possible in any way someone who have stereotypes. I learned with this class that I did at some time had stereotypes, I am grateful to have an amazing teacher who knew that even when we could feel uncomfortable we needed it to learn, we need it to grow to become the teachers that our diverse students can benefit and see as role models. Tools provided by the face to face lectures, readings of the articles, and other students are a gift to me on my education and continue learning as a future educator. I took our students into a classroom with a different language, different culture, and different experiences. The students have a brief but valuable lesson about others culture and the respect each culture deserves besides that of themselves. Our students were beyond amaze by the language and the lecture of the teacher. I feel like I used some of what I learn in class.
