Healthcare 4.0 refers to the fourth industrial revolution in healthcare, characterized by the integration of advanced digital technologies such as blockchain technology, artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and big data analytics, into the healthcare sector within smart cities. This integration is aimed at improving the efficiency, accuracy, and personalization of healthcare delivery, ultimately leading to better patient outcomes. Key areas of application for Healthcare 4.0 include telemedicine, personalized medicine, predictive analytics, and the automation of routine tasks.
The benefits and challenges of smart healthcare are addressed in this course. It covers important technologies used in various aspects of smart healthcare, such as robotic surgery and 3D printing, and the benefits of telemedicine and online pharmacies. It also examines the importance of secure health data management and the various methods available for ensuring that security. Finally, the smart hospital is discussed and how the Internet of Things and artificial intelligence, among other technologies, can enhance patient care. This course is endorsed by the IEEE Communications Society.
What you will learn:
Review the basics of smart healthcare
Discuss aspects of remote healthcare
