Automotive cybersecurity projects address modern vehicle security challenges. Cyberattacks on connected and autonomous vehicles rise. These projects aim to secure automobiles from unwanted access, data breaches, and safety issues. Researchers and industry experts find vulnerabilities, assess threats, and build secure architectures. Automotive cybersecurity projects include intrusion detection, secure communication protocols, and authentication. Ensuring automotive system integrity, confidentiality, and availability builds trust in connected and autonomous car safety and security.
As the automotive industry continues to work on intelligent and autonomous vehicles, there is a need to better comprehend the safety and security of this connected technology. The IEEE 5-course program, Automotive Cyber Security: Protecting the Vehicular Network, aims to foster discussion on automotive cyber security solutions and requirements for not only intelligent vehicles but also the infrastructure of intelligent transportation systems. This course program investigates cyber security issues and solutions, as well as how blockchain technology applies to automotive applications. It also provides in-depth knowledge of collecting, analyzing, and interpreting vehicular data and its impact on security, the economy, and safety into the future.
Upon successful completion of this course program, you are eligible to receive an IEEE Automotive Cyber Security digital badge.
