Dr. Bellini is Professor of Church Renewal and Evangelization in the Heisel Chair at United Theological Seminary. Dr. B. as his students call him, is an interdisciplinary theologian, researching, writing, teaching at the intersection of theology, philosophy, and the science. He teaches courses in Church Renewal, Evangelization, Global Charismatic Studies, Interreligious and Intercultural Encounter, Urban Studies, Philosophy, and Pastoral Care and Counseling. His foci in Church Renewal are the person and work of the Holy Spirit. His main interest in evangelization is power evangelism (deliverance and healing) and discipleship.
As an interdisciplinary theologian, his interests are in Trinitarian theology and applied pneumatology in practical areas, such as holiness, prayer, healing and mental health, deliverance, discipleship and leadership development. These themes are informed by secondary work in participatory ontology and epistemology, neuroscience, the social and behavioral sciences, theoretical physics, and cognitive neuroscience.
Dr. Bellini also researches and writes in the theology, history, and practices of renewal movements, specifically early Methodism, the Holiness movement, the Pentecostal-Charismatic movements, and the current Global South renewal.
Rev. Dr. B. is an ordained Elder in the Allegheny West Conference of the Global Methodist Church and has served in ministry for over 37 years. He has been a leader in every facet of ministry, including new church starts, church turnarounds, mergers, local church renewal, prison and campus ministry, revivals, conferences, deliverance ministry, discipleship and leadership training, inner city and global missions and several marketplace ministries. He has taught and ministered in countries throughout Latin America, Africa, East and Southeast Asia, Europe, and North America. Dr. Bellini teaches on the Holy Spirit and related topics, such as holiness, healing, prayer, hearing God, discipleship, mental health, pastoral care and counseling, revivalism, Wesleyan Holiness-Pentecostal-Charismatic movements the power of God, spiritual warfare, and deliverance. Above all Dr. Bellini is a revivalist and ministers in revivals throughout the year. As a revivalist, he ministers in the fivefold gifts, specializing in prophetic intercession, deliverance, and healing. Dr Bellini is one of the foremost authorities on deliverance and exorcism.
Pete is married to Mariuccia Bellini. They have two adult children Pietro Aaronne and Paola Arianna. They have a granddaughter Costanza. In his free time, Pete is a recreational heavyweight boxer and a powerlifter. He also runs a boxing club ministry. Dr. Bellini is a heavyweight boxing historian and avid Roberto Clemente aficionado. Known as Dr. B (with students), Pete (friends), or Petey (friends and family).
Bishop Leah Hidde-Gregory provides episcopal leadership in the Global Methodist Church. She is assigned to the annual conferences in the Northeast, South Georgia, Bulgaria, and the now emerging conference in Mexico. In addition to her role as Bishop, Bishop Gregory serves as the Conference Superintendent of the MidTexas Conference. Working with a leadership team, she was instrumental in the start-up and development of the MidTexas Conference.
Prior to joining the Global Methodist Church, Leah served as a laywoman in the Oklahoma Conference and as a pastor in the North Texas and Central Texas Conferences of the UMC, as well as a District Superintendent for six years and Director of New Church Start and Church Growth in the CTC. She was a member of the Transitional Leadership Council for the entirety of the transitional time of the denomination. She served as a chair for a season.
Leah has a heart and passion for sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ across the globe. She has spent much of her ministry in church revitalization, revival and church growth. She is excited about the Global Methodist Church and the orthodox Wesleyan witnesses which is being awakened within our congregations.
She holds a Doctorate in Ministry in Church Leadership Excellence from Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, D.C.; a Masters of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology; and a Bachelors in Psychology and Sociology from Texas A&M Commerce. She is married to the love of her life, Stan. They have two Grown daughters and son-in laws, and a son, Will who is a freshman in college.
Dr. Jason Vickers serves as professor of Christian theology and the Wesley Endowed Chair of Christian Theology. A popular teacher, prolific author, and ordained elder in the Global Methodist Church, Vickers holds a PhD from Southern Methodist University. Prior to joining Truett Seminary, Vickers taught at Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky. He also has taught at Austin College in Sherman, Texas, Hood Theological Seminary in Salisbury, North Carolina, and United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. Professor Vickers is a past president of the Wesleyan Theological Society and current member of the Discipleship, Doctrine, and Just Ministry Commission of the Global Methodist Church. Vickers is editor of the Wesleyan Theological Journal, and co-author with Thomas H. McCall of Love Divine: A Wesleyan Systematic Theology.
Dr. Vickers is married with three children. He is an avid outdoorsman and a lifelong fan of classical country music.
Matt Reynolds is the President and Founder of Spirit & Truth, a Wesleyan-minded renewal ministry aimed at equipping local churches to become more empowered by the Spirit, rooted in the truth, and mobilized for the mission. Spirit & Truth (spiritandtruth.life) offers hands-on training in evangelism and Spirit-filled discipleship, as well as resources like Firebrand Magazine. Prior to starting Spirit & Truth, Matt served for many years as a local church pastor and has been in ministry for 21 years now. He has a degree in mechanical engineering, an M.Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary, and a doctoral degree from United Theological Seminary with an emphasis on evangelism and church renewal. Matt is an ordained elder in the Global Methodist Church. He lives in Tipp City, Ohio with his wife, Heidi, and their three sons.
