The Wesley House of Studies is a caring community of Wesleyan students, scholars, and ministry leaders at Baylor’s Truett Seminary. Through enrollment in approved courses in Wesleyan theology, history, polity, and practice, students can receive masters-level certification in Wesleyan-affiliated contexts. The Wesley House of Studies offers students a network of colleagues from Wesleyan traditions who can provide support, direction, and help with placement as they pursue a call to ministry in helping make disciples of Jesus Christ and growing God’s Kingdom. Students, through affiliation in a Wesleyan denomination and through the generosity of Truett, also have access to wonderful scholarhsip opportunities.
"The Wesley House of Studies at Truett Seminary is a vibrant community committed to forming and equipping pastors for faithful service in the local Church. Rooted in the Wesleyan tradition, we are Spirit-filled, Bible-centered, and energized by what God is doing in the unfolding story of the Wesleyan and Methodist movement. With exceptional students and scholars, generous scholarships, and beautiful campuses in Waco, Houston, and San Antonio, we are uniquely positioned to help lead the future of Methodism. Come and discover how God is at work among us."
Rev. Dr. Rusty Freeman
The Scott L. Engle Director of the Wesley House of Studies
