We’ve compiled a list of high-priority objects. This list reflects the most desired items, so during your first few weeks, we encourage you to focus mainly on scanning these objects. This way, you can streamline your efforts and maximize your impact right from the start.
That said, please remember that this list is not exhaustive or restrictive. You’re absolutely welcome—and encouraged—to explore beyond these items if you have ideas for new objects to scan. Think of this list as a guide rather than a limitation. Your creativity and unique contributions are highly valued here, and we look forward to seeing the diverse range of objects you discover and share!
⚠️ WARNING 01 - Duplicate Objects with Different Names: ⚠️ (1st of December, 2024)
It's been observed that repeated instances of identical objects being submitted with varying names. Specifically, some contributors are submitting scans of objects that are part of a set and look nearly identical to previous submissions, even if they’re technically from the same set. Please avoid scanning and submitting objects that are visually indistinguishable from previous scans, even if they have minor differences or belong to a set.
⚠️ WARNING 02 - About Low-Quality 3D Models⚠️ (23rd of December, 2024)
1. Avoid Similar Objects
Limit submissions of identical or nearly identical objects. For instance, if submitting a toy car, send no more than 10 similar items. Variety is key.
2. Spread Similar Submissions Across Weeks
Even if you have multiple similar objects, avoid submitting them in the same week. Spread them out over different weeks to maintain diversity.
3. Ensure Complete Visibility in Scans
During scans, ensure the object is fully visible to the camera at all times.
4. Avoid Useless, Damaged, or Low-Quality Objects
The client has been particularly frustrated by submissions in this category. Avoid sending rocks, wood, concrete, or any objects that are dirty, old, or broken. Only submit clean, high-quality items.
5. Limit Bottles and Cans
While some bottles and cans are on the priority list, we still recommend avoiding submissions of these items unless explicitly requested.
We don't have a lot of outdoor objects, so encourage users to go outdoors and scan interesting objects.
