No, NExT-Game is a non-archival venue. This means your submission will not be formally published in proceedings or indexed in academic databases. You retain full rights to submit and publish the same work in other venues.
Yes, submissions must be anonymized for double-blind review.
No, we do not accept papers that have been published in archival venues (including the ICML main conference). We welcome submissions of work in progress, early-stage ideas, or research that has not yet been published elsewhere. Our aim is to encourage discussion and gather feedback on developing projects.
4 for short papers; 6 for standard papers, excluding references and appendices.
This workshop is held during ICML 2026 in Seoul, South Korea.
Unfortunately we don't have any relation to visa issuing authorities.
The paper acceptance to our workshop has been imported to the ICML website. Once you register for any in-person attendance (either workshop, tutorial, conference or full) here: https://icml.cc/Register2 , you should be able to generate an invitation letter directly from the ICML site. The letter is intended for visa applications and should also list your accepted work. See Step 5 on the registration page.
Furthermore, if you encounter any issues, you can write to the following email: visas@icml.cc (maintained by ICML)
Accepted papers can add one page relative to the review-phase page limit. See CfP and OpenReview for camera-ready deadline.
It is ok to improve the manuscript, but avoid substentially change, meaning, focusing on a separate topic, large amount of new text; if in doubt, send an email once the camera ready version is uploaded to open-review, with the two versions in attachments.
Camera ready deadline is June 30, 23:59, AoE.
Please follow the instructions you will receive by email, closer to the workshop. Poster presenters have the flexibility to choose the size that best support their presentation. Nonetheless, posters must not exceed 36in (H) x 24in (W) or 91cm (H) x 61cm (W)
* Notice: Workshop posters must be in portrait format
