Privacy Policy
This document specifies the Privacy Policy that the user must accept in order to use the "Next.Bus" application.
By proceeding with the use of the application "Next.Bus" you agree that you have read and accepted the Privacy Policy specified in this document.
The "Next.Bus" application was created as an application to encourage the use of public transportation and allow for better predictability of schedules when planning/taking trips on them.
This document will specify which data is collected in the application and how it is processed.
If the user does not agree with any of the terms described in this document, he must close and uninstall the application from his device (s).
What are personal data and non-personal data?
Personal data is information relating to a living, identified or identifiable person. Personal data are also the set of different information that can lead to the identification of a specific person, such as: Name and email address.
Personal data that has been uncharacterized, encoded or pseudonymised, but that can be used to re-identify a person, remains personal data and falls within the scope of the GDPR.
Personal data that has been made anonymous so that the person is not or ceases to be identifiable are no longer considered personal data. For data to be truly anonymized, anonymization must be irreversible.
Non-personal data is information that does not lead to the identification of a specific person, for example: e-mail address such as "info@empresa.com", version of the operating system and model of the device.
What data is collected?
When using the application, no personal data is collected, however anonymous (non-personal) data is collected.

What is the purpose for using the data?
We use the data collected for the following purposes:
To monitor the application and thus detect, prevent and resolve technical problems more quickly
For analytical purposes allowing to find ways to improve the application
How long is the data kept for?
The collected data is kept for 14 months.
Application permissions
The application only requires access to the internet and does not require additional permissions in order to function.
Optionally the user may allow access to the device's location in order to search for stops near the user's location. This information is only used for this purpose and is not collected.
Security
Although the application uses the best software development practices to protect the data collected (even if it is non-personal data), no computer system or transmission over the internet is 100% secure and therefore it is not possible to guarantee its absolute security.
Changes to this privacy policy
The privacy policy in this document may be updated periodically and the changes will take effect immediately.
Whenever the privacy policy is changed, these changes will be applied in this document.
