These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and HexRay VPN - Private Connection ("HexRay VPN", "we", "us", or "our") covering your use of our mobile application and any related services (together, the "Service").
Installing, opening, or using the Service means you accept these Terms in full. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service. How we handle information, including our no-logs commitment and our use of third-party advertising, analytics, and attribution SDKs, is explained separately in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of your agreement with us.
1. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCEPTANCE
By using the Service, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old, or older if your country sets a higher minimum age, and that you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms. If you are below the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
2. THE SERVICE AND CHANGES TO IT
HexRay VPN provides an encrypted connection tool. The Service is a living product: we may add, alter, pause, or retire any part of it at any time — including server locations, supported protocols, connection performance, and individual features — with or without advance notice. We are not obligated to keep any particular feature, server, or capability available indefinitely.
3. ACCEPTABLE USE
The Service exists to protect lawful, everyday internet use. You agree not to use it for anything that breaks the law or harms others. In particular, you must not:
carry out, assist, or enable any activity that violates local, national, or international law;
upload, share, or distribute copyrighted material without authorization, including illegally copying or torrenting films, software, or other protected works;
spread malware, run denial-of-service or DDoS attacks, scan or probe networks, or try to gain unauthorized access to any system or account;
push out spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or abusive marketing through our infrastructure;
access, produce, or circulate material that exploits or endangers minors; or
interfere with, overload, or attempt to circumvent the security of the Service or the networks connected to it.
If we receive credible reports of abuse, or have reasonable grounds to believe these rules have been broken, we may suspend or end your access without prior notice.
4. PRIVACY, NO-LOGS, AND YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
We do not monitor or log your browsing activity, as described in our Privacy Policy. However, privacy is not a license. A VPN does not make unlawful conduct lawful, nor does it grant true anonymity for illegal acts. You are, and remain, solely responsible for what you do online and for complying with every law that applies to you.
5. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND LICENSE
The software, trademarks, names, logos, designs, and all other materials that make up the Service belong to HexRay VPN or its licensors and are protected by applicable laws.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial use, strictly in line with these Terms. You may not copy, resell, sublicense, modify, decompile, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit the Service or any part of it without our written permission.
6. THIRD-PARTY ADVERTISING, ANALYTICS, AND ATTRIBUTION
The Service may include advertisements, analytics tools, attribution tools, or links to content supplied by third parties. These third-party services may include advertising networks, analytics providers, attribution providers, and related technology partners, such as Google AdMob, AppsFlyer, and Meta/Facebook.
These third parties may help us display ads, measure ad performance, understand app installs and campaign attribution, detect fraud or invalid traffic, and improve the Service. Their collection and use of information is described in our Privacy Policy and may also be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
We do not create, endorse, or control third-party advertisements, offers, websites, products, services, claims, or practices. Any interaction, transaction, or dispute you have with a third party is between you and that third party.
7. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all express and implied warranties, including those of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that:
the Service will run without interruption, delay, or error;
the Service will be safe from every conceivable security threat; or
you will reach any particular connection speed or any specific geo-restricted content.
8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HexRay VPN, together with its developers, operators, and affiliates, will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, nor for loss of data, loss of profits, service interruptions, or harm arising from the actions of third parties, whether or not we were advised such damages were possible.
Where local law does not permit some of these limitations, our liability will be limited to the smallest extent the law allows.
9. SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
We may limit, suspend, or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you breach these Terms, if the law requires it, or to protect the Service, our users, or others. You may end this agreement at any time simply by ceasing to use the Service and uninstalling the App. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.
10. GOVERNING LAW AND SEVERABILITY
These Terms are governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service is operated, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence provide otherwise. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force and effect.
11. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continuing to use the Service after an updated version takes effect means you accept the revised Terms, except where the law requires otherwise. The "Last Updated" date above always reflects the current version.
