Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 13, 2026
HexRay VPN - Private Connection ("HexRay VPN", "we", "us", or "our") was built on a simple idea: the tool you trust to protect your connection should never become a record of what you do with it. This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle when you use our mobile application (the "App"), why we handle it, and how we protect it.
By installing or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please stop using the App.
1. OUR NO-LOGS VPN POLICY
We operate a strict no-logs policy for VPN usage.
We do not record, inspect, or store your browsing history, the websites or services you access, the contents of your traffic, your DNS queries, or the data transmitted through the VPN tunnel.
We do not keep VPN connection logs that identify your activity. This means we do not maintain records of your original IP address, the VPN IP address assigned to you, connection timestamps, disconnection timestamps, session duration, or bandwidth usage tied to an individual user.
Because we do not create these VPN activity records, we cannot provide them to anyone.
2. INFORMATION WE MAY HANDLE
To operate, improve, advertise, and support the App, we and our service providers may process a limited set of technical and usage information. This information is not used by us to monitor what you do through the VPN tunnel.
Basic device and app information
We may process non-sensitive technical information such as device model, operating system version, app version, language setting, country or region inferred from network information, and general device configuration. This helps us maintain compatibility, diagnose issues, and improve reliability.
Advertising and analytics identifiers
Where permitted by your device settings and applicable law, the App or third-party SDKs may process identifiers such as the Google Advertising ID, App Set ID, AppsFlyer ID, install referrer, and similar app or device identifiers. These identifiers may be used for advertising, attribution, analytics, fraud prevention, and service measurement.
App usage and interaction information
We may process limited in-app activity information such as app launches, installation events, session events, ad impressions, ad clicks, purchase events if applicable, button taps, feature usage, crash information, performance data, and diagnostic information.
Network and approximate location information
Some third-party SDKs may receive network-related information such as IP address and user agent. An IP address may be used to estimate an approximate country, region, or city-level location, support fraud prevention, deliver ads, or measure advertising performance.
Support messages
If you contact us for support, we may keep your message, email address, and related communication only for as long as needed to respond to your request and improve support quality.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND SDKs
The App may include third-party services that help us keep the App available, free, reliable, and measurable. These services operate under their own privacy policies.
Google AdMob
We use Google AdMob to display advertisements in the App. Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share information such as IP address, advertising identifiers, app interactions, ad views, ad clicks, diagnostic information, and device information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention.

AppsFlyer
We use AppsFlyer for mobile attribution, analytics, install measurement, campaign performance measurement, and fraud prevention. AppsFlyer may process identifiers such as advertising ID, AppsFlyer ID, install referrer, app ID, IP address, user agent, device information, install events, and in-app events configured by us.

Meta / Facebook SDK
We may use Meta / Facebook SDK for advertising measurement, app event tracking, campaign optimization, and analytics. Depending on our configuration, Meta may receive app events such as app install, app launch, purchase events if applicable, advertising identifiers, device information, and other event data that we configure.

Important limitation
These third-party SDKs do not receive the contents of your VPN traffic from us. They cannot read the websites you visit through the VPN tunnel, the DNS queries protected by the VPN, or the content transmitted through the encrypted VPN connection.
4. ADVERTISING AND USER CHOICES
The App may show ads to support the free service.
Depending on your region, device settings, and applicable law, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. Where consent is required, we will request consent before using certain data for personalized advertising or tracking.
You can limit or reset your advertising ID through your device settings. On Android, you may be able to reset or delete your advertising ID or limit ad personalization in system settings.
5. DEVICE PERMISSIONS
The App requires VPN configuration permission to create a secure VPN tunnel. Granting VPN permission allows the App to route your network traffic through an encrypted connection. This permission does not mean we record your browsing activity or inspect the contents of your traffic.
You can revoke the VPN permission at any time through your device settings, but doing so will disable the VPN service.
6. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We and our service providers may use the limited information described above to:
Provide and maintain the VPN service;
Display ads and keep the App available for free;
Measure ad performance and campaign attribution;
Detect fraud, abuse, and invalid traffic;
Improve App stability, performance, and user experience;
Diagnose crashes and technical issues;
Respond to support requests;
Comply with legal obligations.
7. HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION
We do not keep VPN activity logs.
Technical, advertising, analytics, and diagnostic information handled by us or our service providers is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law.
Support correspondence is retained only for as long as needed to handle your request and improve support quality.
8. DATA SECURITY
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information handled by the App. VPN traffic is transmitted through encrypted tunneling protocols.
However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is perfectly secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security against every possible risk.
9. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Our servers and service providers may be located in different countries. When information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled in accordance with this Policy and applicable law.
10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
HexRay VPN - Private Connection is not designed for children under 13, or the minimum age required by the laws of your region. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
11. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information.
Because we do not keep VPN activity logs, in many cases we do not have activity information linked to you. Where we do hold limited information, you may contact us to exercise your rights.
12. ADDITIONAL TERMS FOR THE EEA, UK, AND SWITZERLAND
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR where applicable.
Our legal bases may include:
Contractual necessity, to provide the VPN service;
Legitimate interests, to maintain, secure, improve, advertise, and measure the App;
Consent, where required for personalized advertising, tracking, or certain SDK-based processing;
Legal obligation, where processing is required by applicable law.
You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
13. LEGAL REQUESTS
We comply with applicable law. However, because we do not keep VPN activity logs, we cannot provide browsing history, VPN traffic contents, DNS queries, or individual VPN session records that we do not have.
14. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. If changes are significant, we may notify users through the App or by other reasonable means.
