This local church has a long history. Planted back in the late 1940s by members of the Coulter family motivated by their desire to honor the truth of God’s Word as they came to discover it, and to establish a viable local church for succeeding generations, its history includes several name changes, an impressive gallery of dedicated members and leaders, and moving testimonies of God’s faithfulness.
Today, the Newton Church is experiencing a wonderful rebirth of its vision of being a fellowship of Christians centered on the Lord Jesus Christ, offering hope and life through the gospel to everyone in its community and as far as the Lord gives it influence. It is the most exciting place to be in Newton on a Saturday afternoon! Come join the excitement and grow with us.
