These terms are still used by some within the Kingdom and we will continue to study and respect them. They are the building blocks upon with the Gilded Tower ranks that were formed. They are great depth in tradition and unique qualities of the Jewel's secrets and power.

Wali - Guardian, or protector. The Royal Guard of New Thalos.
Badiyyah - literally desert, or semi-arid environment. Used for Thalos in general.
Caliph - English spelling of Khalifah, wise man, or holy man. Used for retired royalty in New Thalos.
Sayyida - a retired Sultana
Sheikh - a title for a male landowner
Jaddah - a title for a female landowner
Vizier - an advisor, or councilor. Second in command of New Thalos.
Barakah - Means Blessings or Divine Grace
Khamaseen - A desert sandstorm equivalent to a tsunami on the ocean
Namaste - literally "I bow to the divine in you"
Qisas - retaliation in kind, "eye for an eye"
Daiy - literally someone who calls others to a belief. Formerly the Herald of the Masjid.
Imam - literally a person who leads a prayer. Formerly the Believers of the Masjid.
Jihadin - a holy warrior. Member of the New Thalos Jihad guild.
Majihadin - a Jihadin captain
Masjid - literally a temple, or building of worship. New Thalos Church.
Muadhin - a person who calls to the faithful to begin their daily rituals. formerly the Healer guild.
Mumin - a devout. formerly the Petitioners of the New Thalos Masjid
Nabi - a prophet. Formerly the Prophets of the Masjid.
Najmuddin - literally "Star of the Faith", the leader of the New Thalos Masjid
Sabirin - a person of great patience and perserverence. The Masjid Scholars guild.
Saladin - a General. Leader of the New Thalos Jihadin.
Ahmir - a soldier. Commander of all New Thalos military.
Ghazi - literally, a soldier. General of the New Thalos Mujahid.
Dehgan - literally a leader of soldiers. Captain of the New Thalos Mujahid.
Fallah - literally to consume, as a disease. Used in terms of faith. New Thalos Mujahid recruit.
Masrur - a guard. New Thalos military base ranking.
Mujahid - literally, a warrior or soldier. The New Thalos military guild.
