Sticky bras have become increasingly popular in recent years. The bra shaped like a rabbit has, in my opinion, gained the most popularity. When I read advertisements, I often question if the product would work for "all sizes." Since I have a larger chest, I was really skeptical. I'm also an organic baby...swing low, sweet chariots! (in my Creed Bratton voice). So I felt compelled to test it out and share my findings with you.
Ordering and packaging
I ordered a pair, one in beige/neutral and the other in black. Not to be confused with my nakedness. The hue is significantly lighter than my skin tone. I had purchased them, so I wasn't surprised by the color. Both sets were included in Amazon Prime, making them available for free shipping on orders of $25 or more. I purchased both sets from Amazon for approximately $13 each.
The packaging for the items I ordered was quite unimpressive. They were packaged in a thin plastic bag with a thin plastic film covering each adhesive side. I tore the plastic after the first use, therefore rendering it worthless. I ultimately adhered the two together to preserve them.
Does the bra actually function?!
When I first used them, they were really simple to apply. I lifted each breast and positioned them where I believed they would be the least conspicuous with my clothes. The nipple should be positioned in the non-sticky center of the bra, where it should not be sticky. Both were applied on clean, dry skin. I was quite amazed by how secure the lift felt after it was placed. I wore them underneath a rather sheer sleeveless dress and they did not show through. In order to test their durability, I wore them all day and ended up sleeping in them. It's a little strange having my breasts suspended by two rabbit-shaped adhesives, but I'm willing to sacrifice for the team. The instructions did state that they should not be used for more than 8 hours... Consequently, that's that! I will insert the instructions in the space below.
The following morning, when I awoke, they were still securely in place. When I removed them, there was no strange residue and it was easy to remove them from my skin.
Last thoughts
I intend to utilize them again, and I do encourage them. After a few days of continuous use, I discovered that their stickiness is diminished if they are not washed. Using clean hands to wipe the sticky side with a little water and then letting it to dry is an effective method.
Finding the correct size is essential. Follow the manufacturer's sizing recommendations and customer feedback when selecting a size to ensure proper support.
I had no problems with them slipping when I was out and about, but I don't think they will hold up well if you sweat a lot. I would also not suggest using them in swimwear, as they are ineffective on damp skin.
