National Holidays
The New Rubix Republic currently celebrates 11 National Holidays. Celebration of National Holidays is handled by the Ministry of Culture. New holidays may be instituted by decree or by the National Assembly.
January
1 January New Year's Day - A celebration of the New Year according to the Gregorian calendar.
28 January Lunar New Year - A cultural celebration of the New Year according to the lunisolar calendar.
February
13 February Veneration Day - A memorial festival in honour of the ancestral dead.
March
20 March Honours List Day - Awards in recognition for services to the state are awarded on this date.
31 March Space Day - A celebration of the establishment of RUCOSMOS, the national space agency.
April
4 April New Rubix Day - The official national day of New Rubix celebrating the declaration independence.
12 April International Day of Human Space Flight - Commemoration of the anniversary of the first human space flight.
May
1 May Labour Day - A celebration of workers around the nation.
19 May Leicester Foundation Day - Commemorating the foundation of the Leicester Township, ACT.
July
31 July Malania Foundation Day - Commemorating the foundation of the Malania Township, SEAAZ.
October
10 October Armed Forces Day - Commemoration of the servicemen of the Armed Forces of the New Rubix Republic.

31 December New Year's Eve - A celebration in anticipation of the New Year.
