What is the New Rubix Republic?
The New Rubix Republic is a sovereign, independent nation, located in and completely surrounded by territory of the Commonwealth of Australia. New Rubix is located in South Eastern Australia, an enclave within the state of New South Wales, a second enclave in Central Australia and additional territories across almost every continent.
Our Republic was established in 2015 and has been led by His Excellency, President Pio Lowe since that time. New Rubix boasts its own Army, Airforce, Military Academy, National Space Agency, holidays, currency and time zone.

Our Political Structure
New Rubix is a unitary state which features a bicameral legislature with a State Council and National Assembly. The National Assembly drafts and proposes new laws or amendments while the State Council vets and accepts laws proposed by the National Assembly.
The National Assembly consists of 5 seats held by democratically elected or appointed officials.
The State Council comprises of the President and appointed Ministers of State.

As of 2023, the New Rubix Republic has five Territorial Administrative Units (TAU) consisting of two territories and three zones. Each is administered by a Governor who answers to the Federal Government.
The capital of New Rubix, Auguston, constitutes its own territory despite being the smallest, by size, of all the TAUs.
