Culture and Family Exchange Group
We have daily family interactions such as home visits, short trips, dining, etc., with international students to help them enjoy their off-campus life. We also attend YNU's IMP Research Presentation, Ferris's International Student's Farewell Speech, etc.
We organize the Cherry Blossom Viewing Party in April, the Cultural Festival in November, and participate in Shonan Hiratsuka Tanabata Festival in July with international students, to deepen their understanding of Japanese traditional culture, arts, and crafts. The annual Cultural Festival has been suspended due to the Coronavirus crisis for the last 3 years. As an alternative, we implemented a virtual cultural festival. Live recordings of Koto performances with international students and RKK members are now on youtube (please enjoy the videos below). These culture and family exchanges with international students, coupled with Japanese language study support, have helped to strengthen the bonds between international students and RKK members.
家庭訪問、小旅行、食事など、留学生との日常的な家族交流を行い、キャンパス外での生活を楽しむお手伝いをしています。 YNUのIMP研究発表会、フェリスの留学生発表会等にも出席します。
4月にはお花見会、11月には秋の文化祭、7月には湘南ひらつか七夕まつりに留学生とともに参加し、日本の伝統文化や工芸品への理解を深めています。 恒例のRKK文化祭はコロナウイルス禍により過去3年間中断されていましたが、それに代わるものとして誌上文化祭２１/２２を行いました。下の「誌上文化祭作品集(２０２２）をみる」をご覧下さい。また、留学生とRKKメンバーによる箏演奏のライブ映像をyoutubeにアップしました（下の動画をお楽しみください）。 このような留学生との文化交流や家族交流は、日本語学習支援と相まって、留学生とRKK会員との絆を強めるのに役立っています。
