Connection with NEEPS
Members of the New Paltz Evolutionary Psychology Lab, including Glenn Geher, Mike Camargo, and Heather Mangione, are credited with spearheading the NorthEastern Evolutionar Psychology Society (NEEPS), which is a vibrant, student-friendly, and highly international group of students and scholars dedicated to advancing our understanding of our evolved psychology. Each year, the NP EP Lab plays a special role in putting together the annual NEEPS conference, including designing conference t-shirts, working closely with keynote speakers, etc. It is a blast and students in the lab develop great connections with scholars and students from all over as a result.
