Bob Thompson

Growing up in Alaska and Iowa has given me a great appreciation for the values and love of the people in the Midwest. Working in construction, commercial fishing, plumbing, coaching, preaching and teaching has been a variety of experiences that have shaped my ministry at New Life Missionary Church. It has been a joy to raise my family here and to work in a community where God has opened up doors and hearts to hear the Gospel. The call of God on my life to preach is my passion in helping His church to grow in the grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Associate Pastor

Ben Roed

Ben is the associate pastor at New Life Missionary Church. He oversees Believe 360, High school Sunday School, Tuesday Night Small Group, Men’s Ministry, and the Monthly Prayer Meeting. Ben works throughout the day for the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship. He and his wife, Peggy, have been married since 2009 and have two kids, Gabriel and Natalie. Ben is passionate about fulfilling the Great Commission and seeing everyone to their full potential in God’s Kingdom.
