Higher and Standard Levels
❏ Minimum of 6(HL) and 4(SL) works in total
❏ Minimum 2(HL) 1(SL) texts written originally in language studied from authors on the Prescribed Reading List (PRL).

❏ Texts must be selected to cover 3/2 periods

❏ Variety of non-literary texts and forms
❏ Do you have enough “bodies of work” to allow for student choice for the IO and the Higher Level Essay
❏ A discussion of the conceptual understandings (identity, culture, creativity, communication, perspective, transformation and
representation)
