Half-day or full-day private instruction is ideal for those looking to learn new climbing skills under the guidance of an experienced instructor. Participants may bring their own gear (subject to a safety inspection) or use equipment provided by us.

Core Skill Progression:

1. Tree Selection & Hazard Identification
Learn how to choose the right tree and recognize potential safety risks.

2. Basic Climbing Gear Overview
Familiarization with essential equipment: harnesses, ropes, carabiners, helmets, etc.

3. Setting Your Climbing Line
Techniques for getting your line into the tree—throw line basics and tips.

4. Tree Safety Practices
Managing risk, communication, and emergency preparedness while in the canopy.

5. Traditional Moving Rope System (MRS)
Core climbing techniques using MRS: essential knots, ascending, and controlled descents.

Advanced Skill Development:

6. Advanced MRS Techniques
Explore more efficient systems using the Hitch Climber setup, Petzl ZigZag, and more.

7. Limb Walking & Lanyard Positioning
Build confidence navigating the canopy and maintaining secure work positioning.

8. Stationary Rope System (SRS)
Climb using modern SRS tools: Rope Wrench, Zigzag/Chicane, Rope Runner Pro, etc.

9. Advanced Positioning & Canopy Access
Master redirects, traverse lines, and access to hard-to-reach parts of the canopy.

Private Lessons:
