Vendor Info

Many vendors return to the festival year after year. However, each year we have a few openings for new artists, crafts people, or specialty vendors. If you would like to be considered for our 2023 Art and Craft fair, we invite you to submit an application and 4 to 8 photographs of your work for our jury.


If you are a NEW vendor and would like to apply to be part of the Heritage Festival, please fill out the New Vendor Application form (this is an online form. Please complete online and mail-in check ONLY) NOTE: As part of your application, you will need to submit 4 to 8 photographs of your work for our jury (email or hard copy) and mail in the $10 application fee. Checks are preferred! Please make payable to: “Newfane Congregational Church” Mail to: Newfane Congregational Church, P.O.Box 27, Newfane, VT 05345. The Application deadline is May 1, 2023. The jury meets in mid to late May. You will be notified in late May or early June of the jury’s decision.


If you are a RETURNING vendor please fill out the Returning Vendor form (this is an online form. Please fill out online and mail-in check ONLY) and mail in your booth fee prior to May 1st, 2023. After May 1st, the booth fee for returning vendors will go up to $225.


Crafts – All exhibited work must be your own. No kits, imports, or commercial products are to be sold. Food sales and raffles are not permitted by exhibitors (except where arranged in advance). “Tasting” samples are allowed.


Attendance – This is a two day Festival. Vendors are expected to be present for both days. Booth fee is for the two day event.  


Booths - spaces are 12 feet x 12 feet. Vendors must provide their own tent, tables, chairs, and display stands. Festival volunteers cannot provide set-up or take-down help. Electricity is not provided. Wifi and cell service are available on the commons.


Booth Fees - Full payment for returning and newly accepted vendors must be received on/before June 25. If the booth fee is not paid by deadline, the space will be offered to one of our alternates. The $10.00 application fee does not apply to the booth fee. Checks are preferred! Cancellation Policy – Cancellation on/before July 31 – full refund.
Cancellation on/before August 31 – one half of the space fee
Cancellation on/after September 1 – no refund


Festival Hours – 10 am – 4 pm – Saturday and Sunday. Vendors are expected to be present during these hours. No exceptions.


Vendor Registration – Registration will be on Friday afternoon from 2:00 – 6:00 pm and Saturday morning from 7:00-9:00 am. PLEASE DO NOT SHOW UP OUTSIDE OF THESE REGISTRATION TIMES.


Security – Windham County Sheriff provides all night security on Friday and Saturday.


Parking for Vendors (one vehicle & trailer) - is provided a short distance from the Common.


Cell Phone & Wi-Fi Service on Newfane Common is improving. AT&T and Verizon both have good coverage and other carriers have improved their coverage. Secure Wi-Fi is provided on the Common by the Newfane Church. Passwords will be provided at the time of registration.


Weather is very unpredictable in October. Please come prepared for rain or cold, but hope for sunny, warm, and delightful! 


Super Raffle – One of the mainstays of the Festival is our Super Raffle, in which over 100 items are raffled off using tickets. Participation in our raffle will provide an excellent showcase for your work during the festival. We appreciate all donations. A map showing where vendor booths are located will be displayed at the Super Raffle.


Vendor Pin – When you arrive, you will be given a “vendor pin” which will identify you as a vendor to visitors and our many volunteers. The pin will also permit you to use the toilets located in Union Hall.


Food – The Church runs the Outdoor Food Tent on the triangle directly in front of the Church and the snack booth (popcorn, caramel apples, water) on the Common. Both are open during festival hours and provide a variety of hot and cold items.


Accommodations – Reserve early! This is the busiest weekend of the year in southeastern Vermont.


No Dogs – Dogs have become an increasing problem at the Festival. We will be doing whatever we can to discourage visitors from bringing dogs into the Festival. Please help. Do not bring your dog.


Newfane Heritage Festival benefits the First Congregational Church of Newfane. It enables the church to continue its active presence in the community by opening its doors to individuals and groups, and through support of many other organizations which contribute to the well-being of our community. Over 225 church members, friends, and neighbors volunteer thousands of people hours to make the Newfane Heritage Festival the wonderful event that it is.
