The Super Raffle is on for 2025!
Held in Union Hall on the Newfane Common, the Super Raffle is one of the most popular events at the Heritage Festival. In 2024, there were over 165 prizes in the raffle, including 42 items donated by the artists and craftspeople displaying on the Common, 40 Gift Certificates donated by local business for services ranging from lodging and dining to skiing, auto repairs, garden supplies and more, and 83 items donated by people from all walks of life: church members, local artists, authors, neighbors, quilters, and the like. There certainly are some wonderful items in the Raffle, thanks to all of the generosity of businesses, craftspeople, friends and neighbors. The prizes are different every year, but there are always unique items in the Super Raffle.
How does a “Super Raffle” work?
Tickets are sold $5 for 10 tickets $10 for 25 tickets. Buy as many tickets as you’d like and then wander among the tables examining the prizes. You drop a ticket (or tickets) in the cans numbered for each prize. Drawing for prizes begins at 2:30 pm on Sunday with the drawing at 3:00 pm. Many people gather on the lawn outside of Union Hall and await the announcement of the winners, but you do not have to be present to win. When you buy your tickets, you'll enter your name and phone number. Sunday evening the winners who have not claimed their prizes are called, and prizes can be picked up on Monday morning at the Union Hall. Prizes cannot be mailed (with the exception of Gift Certificates).
No one will know for sure what the prizes will be in 2025 until the doors open on Saturday at 10am.
Come and see what’s in Union Hall!
