Destiny facilities

At Destiny, we have access to a dedicated creative studio equipped with professional photography, videography and digital production equipment. Our facilities provide a practical working environment where creativity, technical skills and professional standards come together.

Destiny are funded by the Karten Charitable Trust as well as our 1:1 Apple products. The students also get to experience what its like to work as a content creator within the digital media industry. They are also undertaking a creative digital work placement programme with SharpFutures.

Our photography studio features professional cameras, studio flash lighting, softboxes, backdrops and a range of specialist accessories, allowing us to produce high-quality portraits, product photography, promotional imagery and creative studio projects. Our portable equipment also enables us to work on location, covering events and client commissions.

For videography, we use professional camera equipment, tripods, microphones, lighting and audio accessories to capture high-quality footage. We also have access to drone technology, providing exciting opportunities for aerial photography and filmmaking.

Our digital production facilities include computers running industry-standard Adobe software such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro and Illustrator, alongside specialist printing equipment for producing large format graphics, photographic prints and promotional materials.

Our studio is more than just a creative workspace. It is a professional learning environment where our Digital Production Assistants gain hands-on experience using real equipment, develop industry-relevant skills and work together to deliver projects for genuine clients.

At Destiny, we provide the tools, technology and opportunities to turn creative potential into professional results.
