Ir. Prof. Dr. Law Chung Lim
Prof Law served as an EAC panel member since 2012 and he was appointed as the Associate Director (Chemical Engineering) in 2018.
Since then, Prof Law has conducted numerous workshop sessions mainly on OBE, constructive alignment, CQI, SLT, and EAC 5 criteria.
Ir. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasril Hasini
Hasril is a registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia, Certified Energy Manager and Certified Professional in Measurement and Verification by the Malaysia Green Technology Corporation.
He currently serves as an Associate Director (Mechanical) for the Engineering Accreditation Department.
Ir. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Che Maznah Mat Isa
Che Maznah served as the EAC panel evaluator since 2014 and the ETAC panel evaluator since 2017 and was appointed as the Associate Director (Technician) in 2018.
She has delivered over 40 workshops and training and conference papers on engineering education and accreditation, OBE (complex engineering and well-defined problems) to IHLs locally and internationally.
She is appointed as an External Examiner for Civil Engineering programme by many private and public universities in Malaysia. She is also a certified Master Trainer on CDIO Teaching and Learning Framework for Engineering Education since 2012.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmad Yasir Md Said
Dr Ahmad Yasir is Associate Professor at Mechanical and Manufacturing Section, Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysia France Institute in Bangi. He is actively involved in program accreditation not only with ETAC but also with MQA. He was an Associate Director to ETAC from 2016 until 2022. He also has been appointed as International Assessor by National Agency for Academic Assessment and Accreditation in Timor Leste.
Dr Ahmad Yasir obtained his BEngTech in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from University of Poitiers, France in 1995. He obtained his MEng in Manufacturing System from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia in 2002. He completed his PhD research in mechanical and material engineering from same university in 2011. His research focused on machining of aerospace material. The area of research mainly on the material processing and failure analysis.
Ir. Dr. Liew Chia Pao
Liew is a lecturer in Xiamen University with a PhD in Engineering Education from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
He has delivered over 40 workshops and talks internationally and locally on accreditation, outcomes-based education and complex engineering problem solving since 2011.
In this webinar, he will highlight the rationales behind the changes and additions to the 2020 EAC Accreditation Standards with his involvement in the development of the 2017 and 2020 accreditation standards.
En. Noor Azizan Itam
En. Azizan is currently attached to the Department of Polytechnic and Community College Education under the Ministry of Higher Education. He was an Associate Director to ETAC from 2016 until 2022.
Ir. Dr. Siti Hawa Hamzah
Ir. Dr. Siti Hawa Hamzah is a retired Professor in Civil and Structural Engineering from UiTM Shah Alam. She is the former Director of the Engineering Accreditation Department, BEM (2020-2022) and was the Associate Director to EAC from 2014 until 2020. She specializes in load bearing wall panel structures and engineering education. She has been providing extensive trainings on OBE and engineering education. She made impactful contributions to Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Qatar on OBE and quality assurance.
