Instructional Books
Students will be using the Vamoosh Music Books which will be purchased through FACTS charge in the Fall
- 4th grade students, book 1
- 5th grade students, book 2
The Vamoosh Music Books all having background tracks which we use as accompaniment tracks.
Sometimes, students perform songs from a book that they are not currently working in. All tracks will be uploaded to this site on a need basis.
Violin & Viola
All Violin and violas will need to label their instrument case with a luggage tag
- First and Last name
- Phone number
- Rosin
- Shoulder Rest!
- Buying on Amazon will be more cost effective
- Make sure to purchase the size that coordinates with the size instrument you rent for your child
- Suggested brands: Kun or Everst (feel free to purchase any others that look similar or send me a link for an opinion)
- Make sure its an adjustable one so to grow with your instrument
Cello
Violin & Viola
All Violin and violas will need to label their instrument case with a luggage tag

Students may leave their Cello in school mid week to ensure ease of transportation, however, they are not to be left over weekends or more than 2 mid-week evenings.
String Bass
The school will provide a bass for your child to used during the school day which will also be charged a usage fee TBD in the Fall of each school year. (not to exceed $75)
The bass may not be brought home.
Students should rent a bass for the school year to be left at home so to practice and reinforce growth.
